Why
The Government is expanding home care to help Australians live at home for as long as possible by introducing more choice and flexibility through Consumer Directed Care (CDC).
The CDC’s concept is to enhance autonomy while giving individuals control over the care they receive, how Care is delivered, and who delivers it.
Unfortunately, the CDC system was complicated, and whilst providers were all talking about consumer choice, none made it easy for consumers to navigate all the available options.
We wanted to differentiate BaptistCare by delivering on its brand promise through a system supporting its CDC offering.
How
We wanted to empower BaptistCare’s current and future clients to choose how to transform their everyday lives. Because every client is unique, we knew they’d require a unique solution. So, we’ve developed a new approach to putting them in control of their Care based on the principles of choice, clarity, and control.
What
Introducing YouChoose from BaptistCare, it’s Care as individual as you.
We started by rolling out YouChoose in print and trialling with existing clients. Then, we moved to a responsive online app that allows consumers to customise their home care packages completely.
This flexible approach extends to how they can fund the care they receive, whether self-funded services or subsidised Care from the Australian Government. YouChoose helps clients make informed decisions about their Care. The feedback from the online app enables us to continually develop new care packages based on actual consumer selections. YouChoose puts the choice, clarity, and control back into consumers’ hands, delivering on BaptistCare’s promise of Care you can trust.
We launched the app in Canberra at the Retirement Lifestyle & Travel Expo this year. Through NSW, we have raised awareness via direct mail, tactical outdoor, radio, and placement in doctors’ surgeries.
